FAQ for The Cat Cave, Geelong district cattery
How is The Cat Cave different to other cat kennels?
We prefer to think of The Cat Cave at Ocean Grove as a cat motel or cat hotel, rather than a cat kennel. Our staff has a wealth of experience in caring for cats of all ages and temperaments and we pride ourselves on our different feline cattery services, including a variety of stay lengths and options, large flexible enclosures and daily happy hour and playtime for our guests. Contact us at Geelong region boarding cattery, The Cat Cave, if you have any questions.
Can I come in and take a look around The Cat Cave?
Absolutely! We have an open-door policy, which means you can inspect our cattery or visit your pet without having to book an appointment. Just drop in during our generous business hours and stay for as long as you like. We have a visitors’ lounge for that very purpose.
I own three cats. Can they stay in the one enclosure?
Of course. Many of our walk-in enclosures are adaptable for that very reason. We offer a variety of cat boarding options for Geelong and district.
My puss is on medication. Can he still stay?
He sure can. Our carers are experienced in working with vets and medicating cats. Just be sure to bring your pet’s medication with you to The Cat Cave cattery.
What if my cat becomes ill while we are away?
Not only will we recognise any problem quickly, we will contact our experienced on-call vet if required and keep you informed. All part of our feline cattery services for Geelong and district!
My kitty is shy and easily stressed. Would the Cat Cave be too much for her?
Not at all. We can house her in a special cat kennel with cosy spaces for her to relax. And of course, we’ll keep a close eye on her, as we do with all of our guests, to ensure she is safe and comfortable in our boarding cattery. And the rates for our Geelong region cattery are as flexible as our care options.
Does my cat need to be vaccinated?
It’s a legal requirement that all cats staying with us be fully vaccinated.
