Boarding Cattery Requirements, Geelong and district

At Ocean Grove’s The Cat Cave, leading Geelong district boarding cattery, we provide excellent care for your loved pet in a safe, relaxed environment. Our cattery is based on popular warehouse catteries in metropolitan areas but is a first in cat boarding for Geelong district. Our team members are cat lovers and owners with a wealth of experience in caring for all kinds of cats and kittens, so you can be sure your kitty will receive the best of everything at our cat motel.

Your precious pet’s safety and well-being, as well as those of our other cattery guests, are our main priority, which is why we have a number of requirements. You’ll find they are the same as those asked by all cat boarding catteries.

Vaccinations

Your cat’s vaccinations must be up to date. It’s important that shots have been given at least a week before your moggy’s stay with us to ensure its immunity is at its highest. When you book in, you will need to show a current vaccination certificate.

Worming and flea treatment

We ask that you worm and flea your pet before bringing it to stay at The Cat Cave. We’re happy to talk about special long-term cat boarding guest’s requirements.

Minimum age

The minimum age we can legally accept your kitten is 12 weeks but the only other requirement for our feline cattery guests if they are fully vaccinated and you have vet certificates as proof. We don’t have a maximum age limit because, with simple adjustments to our cages, we can cater for seniors as well as those with mobility issues.

Contact Geelong cat boarding facility The Cat Cave if you have any questions or concerns about our boarding requirements. We’re happy to talk to fellow cat lovers at any time.
